The May 5th & 6th Nanoose Studio Tour Event was a great success! The weather held up and thanks to our very tallented and artistic studios, I'm sure The Nanoose Studio Tour will soon to be recognized spring event! This spring the event was well attended as local artists shared their talents and skills to the community. Sales were good and comments posivitive ~ a wonderful start to the beginning of a new season!
This will be the first year for The Farmer's Wife Studio to be on the tour and we are very excited here at the farm... Mike is diligently working on doing a reno of the old milk room adjacent the barn; he has ripped out the floor and ceiling, and removed the old front window where the new entrance will be to ensure all goes well for the opening scheduled for July.
Thanks to Mum we have her old swinging dutch door (the one we used to go through to arrive in the warm and toasty kitchen) at her home/acreage on Monroe off Jingle Pot in Nanaimo, BC
We hope to soon show you some pictures so that we can share with you this wonderful adventure...
